This is one of the assignments for my "Illustration in Press/Editorial" course at LABASAD Barcelona School of Arts & Design. We had to make one main and two spot illustrations, interpreted in a conceptual way, for an article.
I choose an article "How to eat now: 16 rules of modern dining – from dress codes to dogs" from The Guardian. I decided to make a main illustration in a bit funny way, showing dogs eating "human food" as in one of the rules in article they are speaking about dogs in restaurants, which is mentioned already in a title. With spot illustrations I simply showed the rules that are talking about.
First I decided to show illustrations in analog way only in black and white, but after I was playing digitally with colours as well.
