This project is an assignment for my "Illustration for Advertising Projects" course at LABASAD Barcelona School of Arts & Design. We were tasked with creating a summer campaign for a chosen brand in our style.
For the "Summer Energy" campaign, I chose Vans, an iconic brand in street style, skate, and snowboard culture that has always been part of my life. My fun, graphic style and patterns align perfectly with Vans' artistic expression and originality.
For the "Summer Energy" campaign, I created a funny surfing character, "Fishdog" with some iconic vans details. Using a linocut technique, which aligns with Vans "do it yourself" style due to its handmade touch.
